The Primavera Sound Festival debuts this year in Madrid making the city an essential destination for outdoor music lovers. The Primavera Sound Madrid 2023 lands in the Spanish capital after years of success in Barcelona, bringing together the best artists of the national and international scene.

Primavera Sound Madrid 2023 dates

After a first weekend of concerts in Barcelona, Primavera Sound will arrive in Madrid on June 8, 9 and 10, 2023.

In addition to the festival weekend, there will be a parallel program with the concert series Primavera en la Ciudad, which will take place from June 5 to 7 in various concert halls of the city.

Also as part of Primavera Sound there will be a free welcome party on Wednesday 7, and the Elektronic Brunch on Sunday 11, which will mark the end of the festival.

Primavera Sound Madrid line-up

More than 200 concerts will take place during the Primavera Sound Madrid, including the performance of the Brits Depeche Mode, which will mark their return to the stage after five years, and Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, Calvin Harris, Blur, Pet Shop Boys and Halsey as the headliners of a line-up that will not disappoint music lovers.

In the second line-up are artists such as Skrillex, Bad Gyal, FKA Twigs, Maneskin, Le Tigre, The Moldy Peaches, completing an essential poster for national and international audiences.

What is the location of Primavera Sound Madrid?

The three main sessions of Primavera Sound Madrid will take place in La Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey, an open-air venue with a capacity for 96.000 people and a huge stage of 900 square meters. On the other hand, the welcome party and the Brunch will take place in the Estadio Cívitas Metropolitano.

 How to get to the La Ciudad del Rock de Madrid

To get to the Primavera Sound Madrid 2023 there will be a free bus service between 14:30h and 00:00h from the 8th to the 10th of June. The shuttle buses will leave the Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium and will arrive to the Primavera Sound venue.

You can also get to the festival by taking the metro line L9 to the Arganda del Rey station, or by cab with a fixed price from two special points that will be set up in the Paseo del Prado and the Plaza Conde Casal.

At the site of the Primavera Sound there will also be a parking with advance booking for a price of 10€ per day.
