From September 20 to October 16 you can enjoy at the Akeah Hotel of "Due gambe, two legs. Always female legs. The advancement of women in the world can be codified in their legs. The body has memory, unconscious memory. The body is always a social construct and translates changes in attitudes, thoughts, moods. The body allows itself to be shaped by the superstructure. Women have acquired rights and, with them, a new consideration. Women work, create, express their opinions, command and play sports... Women tone their bodies as well as their intellect. My series aims to reflect this new state of affairs, paying homage to the new woman, but without falling into demagogy, histrionics or hypocrisy.

Nivia Diaz- Rubio is an artist from Madrid who work stands out for the combination of elements from nature (such as beach sand, pebbles, minerals) to create textures and then give them colour.

Yolanda Paneque is an artist from Malaga with a bit of Rome and Paris in her brushes. Her [Paneques] are vibrant, energetic and with a common element: the explosion of colour.

Architect and illustrator, Italian based in Madrid, participates in the exhibition Violetta that will be available until March 31. She tells us how she rediscovered the vocation of painting, what is her working method and what the experience of Madrid has meant to her.

🎨VIOLETTA EXHIBITION

From March 8 to 31, art and feminism go hand in hand in an exhibition that opens on Women's Day and will feature a discussion that same day at 6 p.m. at Hotel Akeah (c/ San Bernardo, 48). Art and feminism go hand in hand with three women who exhibit their work in its most feminine facet. Fraules (Vanessa Santos) is a graphic designer and illustrator. Begoña Fernández-Castaño has been trained in prestigious centers such as Central Saints Martins College in London or The Arts Students League in New York, becoming a plastic artist who fuses the most abstract eclecticism with realism. And Claudia Montedoro is an architect and illustrator, reflecting in each drawing her day to day life and her inner world.

Interview Silvia Galan on Women's Day

Silvia Galván is a journalist (by vocation) and in her daily life she gives voice to minority groups. On the occasion of 8M, she talks to us at the Hotel Akeah Madrid about the role of women in social networks and how it has helped them to get rid of labels and show themselves as they want to be.
We also chat with her about the challenges she has faced as a woman, her way of living the 8M and other issues related to women in today's society.

🎨 Sergio S Paris Exhibition

During the month of February, at the Hotel Akeah Gran Vía Adults Only (c/ San Bernardo 48), we were able to enjoy the colorful exhibition of Sergio S Paris. The artist defines his work with three words: "colorful, linear and vindicative". His collection, inspired by Picasso and the French painter Auguste Herbin, follows the same chromatic range based on the colors of nature, giving name to this exhibition.

The painter is the creator of "Fluism", an artistic movement that seeks to "contemplate dirt as texture, disorder as expression and chaos as a universe" and which gives its name to this colorful exhibition that you can visit until Monday, January 30, 2023 at the Hotel Akeah in C/ San Bernardo 48 (28015. Madrid)
